Bazodee is a word used in the northern Caribbean islands, mostly Jamaica. It means disoriented, or slightly crazy. Bazaar is Persian for market. There you have it; a mixed up boutique offering high quality gifts and collectibles.
There's only two of us - Brian and myself. Brian lives in Seattle. He covers the Pacific Northwest looking for unique and interesting items when he's not busy being a database guru. I live in the central Florida area and concentrate mostly on antiques, collectibles, and fine jewelry. The items we feature are gathered from estate sales, flea markets, picking old barns, little shops, and antique dealers.
We understand how difficult it is to purchase an antique or vintage item online. You can't hold it, rub the edges looking for chips, feel the age, or study the work. We'll provide you with additional pictures and information to help you make the right decision. Upon request, we'll give you a phone number to contact us and discuss the item. Gift certificates expire 365 days after purchase. Gift certificates can only be used to purchase items. Certificates cannot be refunded or redeemed for cash.
We store your shipping information and email address only and this information will not be released. We DO NOT store your credit card information. All communication between our website and your device is SSL encrypted.
OUR ITEM DESCRIPTION
Our description includes the written description and the pictures. We will fully disclose all imperfections and flaws in the description.
Age and date descriptions are based on research and speculation. The age and date description on any item not baring a mark is entirely speculative and not grounds for ‘not as described’ claims. Items baring a mark will include research information found on various websites and reference books. A picture of the mark will be included so buyers can perform their own research if desired.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to review the description and pictures carefully. We encourage you to contact us for specific pictures or more information. Please contact us if you discover any issues with our description.

If you are not confident you want the item please contact us for additional pictures and information. Do not purchase an item if you think you might change your mind later. Each time a fragile item is shipped it is subjected to possible damage and loss so we limit returns to "not as described" or "damaged in shipping".

Our item prices are based on book values and the current sale prices of similar items. If you see an item you like but the price is too high we encourage you to make an offer regardless of the amount. You might be surprised.

All items are professionally packed in a new box using bubble wrap, foam, or both. Small items may be shipped in a box inside a bubble envelope. Your item will not be damaged unless severely mishandled during shipping. It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the item when received and report damage to us immediately via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
All items are shipped using USPS Priority Mail, USPS First Class Mail, or USPS parcel select. Each item is insured and tracked. All items are shipped within 48 hours, usually within 24 hours.
RECEIVING AND UNPACKING
It is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect the item for any damage and report it via email@example.com within 24 hours. If the item is damaged do not discard the remains and do not remove them from the box. Take pictures of the damaged item and seal up the box. All items are fully insured and the insurer may request pictures. If the damage is reported within 24 hours we will issue an immediate refund. If the damage is reported after 24 hours the refund will be issued when the insurance claim is paid. The 24 hour limit is based on the USPS tracking information documenting the delivery time information.
Items left outside your home or in your mailbox are subject to theft. All our items are tracked for proof of delivery to your specified address. Take care unpacking your item. Often items are broken during the excitement of unpacking. Once the item is removed from the shipping box the care and condition is the responsibility of the buyer.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Any item that is ‘not as described’ can be returned for a full refund.
Any item damaged during shipping can be returned for a full refund (see Packing). Broken or damaged items should be reported within 24 hours of receiving the item. See Receiving and Unpacking.
Our goal is 100% positive feedback. We want all our customers to be pleased with our items and our customer service. Please contact us before leaving negative feedback. We will make it right.
We consider the transaction complete once USPS tracking indicates the item was delivered. Any further activity will be based on circumstantial considerations.
