Kinkozan Tsukuru Satsuma Vase

A rare and beautiful old Japanese Satsuma vase. This vase is over 120 years old, in excellent condition, and bares the Kinkozan Tsukuru mark on the bottom. About 6 1/2 inches tall, 4 inches wide, no cracks or chips. Crafted in the earlier Meiji period, as early as 1868, it has the beautiful crackle glazing and the raised moriage decoration. This rare vase also has the human forms and background in raised relief work. A fine addition to home or office décor.
